In this class, young artists will discover stories, symbols, and traditions that have been passed down through generations by Indigenous peoples across the Americas. Students will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques as they create projects inspired by pottery, weaving, masks, sculptures, and symbolic designs.
Through hands-on activities, engaging demonstrations, and fun cultural connections, students will learn how art was used for storytelling, ceremony, and daily life, while building confidence in their own creativity.
This class encourages curiosity, respect, and an appreciation for the beauty, diversity, and history of Indigenous art of the Americas.
