Step into a world of larger-than-life heroes, incredible adventures, and unforgettable stories!
In this class, young artists will discover the differences between tall tales and legends. They'll learn how tall tales use exaggerated characters and impossible adventures for fun, while legends are stories rooted in history or culture that blend fact with imagination.
Students will explore a variety of art materials and techniques as they create projects inspired by one classic American Tall Tale and one legendary story, bringing each to life through their own creativity.
Through hands-on activities, engaging demonstrations, and storytelling, students will build artistic confidence while gaining a deeper appreciation for these two unique storytelling traditions.
